Just returned with my father from a visit to RAF Metheringham. His younger brother Flight Engineer Reg Cozens perished on the final flight of Lancaster ME790 on 23rd May 1944 aged 19. It’s marvellous that parts of the old airbase remain accessible today.

my Great Uncle was the pilot of lancaster ME790 his name was flt.lt. Sidney Jack Houlden but we dont have any pictures of him.
